C. Kirven Weekley, Ph.D Clinical Psychologist Beach Inlet Charleston South Carolina

Welcome to My Practice

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”– Henry David Thoreau

This is what I do, help others achieve the life they have imagined.

As a clinical psychologist with decades of experience, my expertise is in helping people with life’s stressors. These stressors can go by the clinical names of anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship impairment, or disability, to name a few. These are fairly common experiences for most of us. I see clients in my office, which is located in a centuries-old building in the French Quarter of the historic district of Charleston, South Carolina.

I help people in two ways. First, as a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and groups, my intention is to help people develop more fulfilling lives with better relationships, good self-care and an enriched sense of well-being. The second way I help people is as a psychological examiner and neuropsychologist, evaluating individuals for their stressors, or who may have a neurocognitive disorder. Please read on to learn more about the help that I offer.

“What I bring to my client’s journey is authenticity, empathy, expertise, warmth, knowledge, integrity, honesty, compassion, respect, a lack of judgment, and within all of this serious work, humor. With decades of experience in this very personal and intimate work, I join my clients in a mutual relationship that is focused on their well-being. My office is located in a centuries-old building in the French Quarter of
the historic district of Charleston, South Carolina. The office is shared with Dr. Susan McClure, a well known Charleston psychologist with 42 years experience.
