If we are lucky enough not to be born with a disability or to have an accident or develop an illness, we will eventually age and face some decrease in our capacity to function. We all will encounter some form of loss. But it is crucial when we are restricted in our abilities to focus on the things we can still enjoy in life, rather than focus on the things that we can no longer do.
I have been privileged to work with many people with disabilities. They have demonstrated to me how to have a more vital, energized and rewarding life than many of us who have no hindrances. I am happy to help those with newly acquired impairments, as well as those with. the long term infirmities and find what energizes them and gives them the courage and determination to have an abundant, rewarding and spacious life.
